This is the ultimate wine tour and tasting experience for the curious and connoisseurs alike who want a stay away with no need to cross the channel. Drop your bags at the hotel at the start of your day, and jump on a train to Ashford from Stratford International, where you will be picked up by your tour guide and designated driver for the day. On the tour you will visit 3 of Kent’s Vineyards and wineries to sample their delicious wines. Enjoy the first guided tour and learn about the wine making process, followed by a tutored wine tasting, and a country pub lunch.

The rest of the afternoon is spent exploring 2 more wineries to taste their produce and enjoy the beautiful Kent scenery, before heading back to The Stratford. The night is yours to explore the rest of our bars and terraces before you settle in. Finish your stay the next morning with English breakfast in The Stratford Brasserie.

 

What's included:
  • Train ticket from Stratford International (opposite the hotel) to Ashford Station
  • Designated driver
  • Tour guide from 10:30AM – 4PM
  • 11AM – Guided tour and tutored tastings at first vineyard
  • 12.45PM – Visit local country pub for lunch in a picturesque Kent village (Lunch included)
  • 2:00/2.30PM – Travel to second wine Estate for tastings, and either enjoy a vineyard walk or take in the views from the deck
  • 3:00-3:30PM –  Visit third vineyard for the last tastings of the day
  • 5:00PM Drop off at station and back to the hotel
  • A night in a Standard Hotel Room at The Stratford Hotel (upgrade subject to availability)
