About Us

WE DID IT FIRST,

WE DO IT BEST

For 27 years, Manhattan Loft Corporation has been changing how Londoners live. Led by CEO Harry Handelsman, the visionary behind Chiltern Firehouse and St Pancras Renaissance Hotel, it is renowned for identifying and transforming up-and-coming neighbourhoods.

About Us

In 1992, Manhattan Loft Corporation turned an abandoned art deco printworks in an unloved part of town into modern luxury lofts. We were told it would never work. We found 23 Londoners who disagreed.

Today, loft living is ingrained in London culture. From Bankside and Soho to Marylebone and King’s Cross, we’ve transformed former factories, derelict warehouses and lost Gothic landmarks into some of the most desirable destinations in the capital. The loft apartments that began our legacy have been joined by film studios, fashion hubs, design hotels, office space and world-renowned restaurants.

We’re the people behind the St Pancras Renaissance Hotel. A 10-year labour of love that reinstated one of Britain’s greatest buildings. We’re the developers behind the Chiltern Firehouse. One of London’s oldest fire stations reborn as its most talked-about restaurant, bar and hotel.

We’ve been defining how and where
Londoners live for over 25 years.

The Stratford is our most ambitious project yet – an extraordinary double-cantilevered, 42-storey tower overlooking Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park. The first building in Europe to create a vertical community by combining longer stay loft apartments, with the services of a 5-star hotel.

The unique blend of a permanent community of residents with the dynamic energy of an international hotel – nurtured across sky terraces, restaurants, bars, work spaces and curated cultural events – is unlike anything else in London.

A vibrant vertical community that promises to take loft-living to new levels, rewrites the future of the high-rise and redefine what a modern hotel can do.
