Dietary Policy

The Stratford Dietary Policy

At The Stratford, we aim for all our guests to enjoy a safe and enjoyable dining experience with us, regardless of your dietary needs.

This policy applies to all food and beverage outlets, including the kitchen and staff interactions with guests regarding special dietary requests.

Allergen awareness
We understand that food allergens pose a serious health risk to some guests. The following measures are in place to mitigate this risk:

Allergen information: Detailed information on the major allergens (such as gluten, dairy, nuts, soy, etc) are available upon request, ask a member of the team for more information.

Staff training: All staff members are trained to understand the 14 major allergens and to discuss all allergen and dietary concerns. All team members complete a 6-month refresher course.

Dietary preferences
We aim to accommodate a variety of dietary preferences and restrictions, including but not limited to:

  • Vegetarian & Vegan: A variety of plant-based dishes will be available. Modifications may be made, where possible, upon request to remove animal-based products from dishes.
  • Gluten-Free: We offer gluten-free options, and where possible, can modify certain dishes to be gluten-free.
  • Halal & Kosher: Halal-certified items are available, and we can provide meals that meet specific religious dietary needs with advance planning.
  • Low-Sodium/Low-Sugar/Low-Fat: Our menu includes options suitable for customers looking for low-sodium, low-fat, or low-sugar meals. We are also happy to modify dishes to meet these dietary preferences.

Our team will inquire about any dietary restrictions or allergies at the time of ordering. If there are any questions regarding our menu or dietary accommodations, our staff will be happy to assist.

We encourage our guests to inform us of any dietary restrictions before ordering. The kitchen team will take all necessary precautions to accommodate these needs. We value customer feedback and will review and adjust our special dietary offerings based on guest needs and new dietary trends.

Our policy will be regularly reviewed to comply with local and national food safety standards, including allergen labelling regulations.

Whilst we take all precautions to prevent cross-contamination and provide accurate allergen information, we cannot guarantee that all food will be completely free of trace allergens or other ingredients due to the nature of our kitchen operations.

Our food and beverage outlets are committed to ensuring that all guests can enjoy a meal that meets their dietary preferences and needs. We appreciate your trust in us and we are dedicated to making your dining experience safe and enjoyable.
