At The Stratford, we’re very passionate about everything ‘green’. We have created a team to drive, educate and shout about what we do, and what can be done. We are super happy to be part of the local community that does so much for driving sustainability in the area, and we are here to keep you up to date with what we are up to.

What have we been up to recently?
– Planted trees in the local community garden (The LightHouse and Gardens) and a local primary school
– Formed a bee-friendly terrace with bee homes integrated in the wood
– Added fruit trees and a fruit & vegetable patch on hotel grounds and terrace
– Added Shred-it bins in BOH areas
– Introduced recycling bins placed in hotel rooms and around the building
– Took part in an Earth Day initiative in partnership with Urban Forest Tribe
– Hosted various tours of our gardens and plantations on-site as well as providing tutorials on planting seeds and information on how to look after plants
